The game of blackjack is played against the dealer and the player is supposed to get to the figure of 21 to beat the dealer. The player has to get to the closest of 21 as possible (which achieved by adding the cards) while beating the dealer who is not supposed to exceed 17. Suits in blackjack don’t have any value. Value of face cards equals to 10 and cards from 2-10 have their face value. Ace may be 1 or 11 depending on the hand it is held. All bets are to be placed before cards are dealt.
